Laura Norin, Senior Project Manager

Experience and Expertise
Ms. Norin integrates quantitative analysis of market dynamics with an in-depth understanding of regulatory structures and policies to advise clients on a wide range of energy issues. She develops energy price forecasts, conducts financial and other technical assessments, and serves as an expert witness in regulatory proceedings. Ms. Norin was a lead author of several publications related to nuclear power, natural gas storage, and solar power markets in California.

Recent projects include assessing the value of a hydroelectric project, evaluating the impacts of proposed solar rates for commercial-scale PV installations, developing tools to evaluate energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, evaluating demand response baselines, designing rate allocation structures, and analyzing natural gas transportation rates.
